Executive Grand Marshall is Scott DodgeSAN DIEGO, CALIF.--While the St. Patrick's Parade is the highlight to this annual event tradition for close to 40 years, the festival village is where the real celebrating takes place throughout the day, providing the camaraderie that the Irish are recognized for. Food vendors, beer gardens, entertainment, kids activities, vendor booths with souvenir items, and surrounding activities such as church service and flag raising make this an excellent way to celebrate your heritage, non-Irish included.
St. Patrick's Day celebrates Irish Culture in San Diego, but invites participants and attendees from all over to visit and join in. Balboa Park is the gathering spot for a day of Irish brews, foods, entertainment, booths, and good times with friends in one San Diego's most beautiful spots.
