SPOOKEASY celebrates Max Fleischer's 1930's Jazz Era spooky cartoons, Chinatown Noir, Prohibition Speakeasy in an immersive, narrative of filled with ghosts that roam the Historic GREAT STAR THEATER in Chinatown.

For those who remember San Francisco's Exotic Erotic Ball held at Cow Palace, you'd be hard pressed to come up with a Halloween event to rival it-- risque costumes and decadent behavior -- it seemed like things couldn't get much wilder. That era in Halloween masquerade balls tipped the scales and people moved on, but not without looking for the next, great festival taking fans to the edge of reality and letting them dangle. Mr. Nobody's Spookeasy from Barron Scott Levkoff's imaginative vision could give the ghosts of Halloweens past a run for their money. Levkoff's memories of cool, crisp Halloweens growing up in New England, wearing The Hobo Clown costume his mom put together with odds & ends, comes to life as one of many characters at Chinatown's Great Star Theatre. The Halloween Extravaganza is the latest creation from San Francisco's very own visionary, Master Puppeteer, Event Producer, Actor and Artistic Director. When a voice in his head told him to get the best, Levkoff contacted Eveline Darroch (Cirque de Soleil and Franco Dragone) for technical direction.

In a circus atmosphere, a seance soiree beckons ghosts and spirits from the 1930's Burlesque and Barbary Coast Vaudeville who manifest in a Prohibition-era Speakeasy. As the midnight hour creeps closer, a larger-than-life dancing and singing skeleton strips away illusion, forcing all to face their fears. Mr. Nobody closes this portion of the party with the grand Tent Show Revival Finale. It's not the end, but the beginning of a rowsing TRAPEZE-produced electroswing after-party hosted by DJ's Delachaux and The Klown.

Explore the secret environs of the theater and discover the mysteries within-- dancers, musicians, glittery showgirls, and larger-than-life cartoon puppets everywhere. Gourmet treats swished with exotic adult elixirs from mixologists offer an evening of intoxicating entertainment.
