Example of events at festival: Join Margarita Adventure's Naturalist Sherryl Clendenen for a walk through the wildflowers on Historic Santa Margarita Ranch. This is a leisurely walk over uneven ground with stops made for photography, wildflower identification, and wildlife observations, space limited.

The Wildflower Festival mission is to celebrate the natural occurrence of the spring bloom through public gathering to educate and inform of the Central Coast's unique resources and hidden treasures, and to provide an event that will have a positive impact on the community
