There's a performance stage  plus activities throughout the open streets (closed to traffic).

COAST will be held on two miles of streets closed to street traffic, including To attend COAST, visitors can ride the Expo Line, Big Blue Bus, or take advantage of Santa Monica's 110 miles of bikeways. Attendees are encouraged to ride their bikes and walk along the route. Bike rentals will be available at multiple locations along the route as well as 85 Breeze stations located throughout Santa Monica. Free bike valets will be available to make it easy to check-in your bike to grab lunch and enjoy the entertainment.

More than 50,000 visitors are expected in Downtown Santa Monica.

The public is invited to -- CONNECT, CREATE, AND CELEBRATE -- at the fabulous, free Annual Santa Monica Festival. Showcasing sustainable living and culture through family-friendly activities and performances, residents and visitors celebrate the quintessential beach town, Santa Monica, through live music, dance performances, art workshops, food trucks, cooking demonstrations, fitness classes, and other activities that reflect the culture and diversity of this Los Angeles County coastal city known for its scenic beauty.

The festival is presented by the City of Santa Monica Cultural Affairs Division and the Office of Sustainability and the Environment (OSE). It is produced by Community Arts Resources (CARS).
