Re-enactors recreate the epic conflict of the American Civil War on the broad agricultural fields of Pierce College. The two day memorialized event will go features different demonstrations every hour. Two of America's most famous field battles take place twice daily at 12 Noon and 3 p.m. Visitors view exciting cavalry charges, artillery barrages, and infantry assaults that were part of America's watershed event, one that transformed a mere union of states into a nation!

It has been more than 150 years since the Civil War took place, starting on April 12, 1861 and ending on April 18, 1865 with the surrender of the Confederate army. 617,000 Americans died in the war. California played an important role in the war.

1 Infantry and Artillery Demonstration (Battlefield)
1:30 - Military Band Concert--The Armory Band (Town Square)
2:15 Cavalry Demonstration (Battlefield)
2:15 Civil War Period Dancing --Open to the Public and Reenactors (Town Square Dance Floor)
3 Second Engagement (Followed by The Grand Review and the Gettysburg Address)
3:45 - A meeting at Appomattox (Town Square)
4 The Presidents and their Generals (Town Square)
5 p.m. Event ends for the public
