As a finale the Albany Fire Department holds a pancake breakfast to benefit the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation. Last year over 800 people attended and through donations the purchase of tickets and filling the boot we were able to sponsor two scholarships for Champ Camp. Sparky the Fire Dog and Smokey the Bear will be in attendance, we will be having raffles, live fire demonstrations, electrical and natural gas safety demonstrations, Engines on display, as well as sign-ups for CPR and First-Aid classes. The breakfast is $7 for adults and $4 for children 6 and under. The breakfast is from 08:00 to 12:00 and will be held on October 12th at the Albany fire station located at 1000 San Pablo Avenue (Behind City Hall on the corner of Marin and San Pablo.)
