 The Chico Ice Rink in the Plaza is under NEW MANAGEMENT! Chico Area Recreation & Park District will be taking over the operations of this years ice rink.  The Chico Ice Rink stands as the centerpiece of downtown Chico's enchanting holiday festivities. Operating seven days per week, this festive attraction is a collaboration between Chico Area Recreation & Park District, Downtown Chico Business Association, and the City of Chico, with support from Paradise Recreation & Park District.

The Chico Ice Rink at City Plaza is located in the heart of Chico within walking distance to CSU, Chico. The Plaza which is located across from City Hall downtown has a band-stand and fountain, plus seating and public bathrooms. Community events and concerts are held in the Downtown City Plaza throughout the year.

Downtown Chico Ice Rink in the Plaza is available for birthdays, company parties, and other ice skating needs such as school field trips! Private rental times are only available during non-operating hours.
