This seasonal ice rink located right next to the giant Ferris Wheel at the Pike is about the only thing left in the harbor area of Long Beach since Queen Mary has not continued its fabulous Chill ice rink that ran for several seasons. In 2018 the historic ship is only doing an on-board holiday offering and the past festivals are sorely missed, but not forgotten.

LA Kings Long Beach Ice Rink was established around Thanksgiving 2016. It is a smaller and lesser established rink than the famed LA Live Ice which is part of the company's holdings also offering season winter ice skating. Another rink was also opened at Westfield Topanga and closer to Long Beach at San Pedro's Battleship USS Iowa. Both those trial venues have no info and may not be back in 2018. Even Long Beach's Pike rink could fall victim to low ratings and customer dissatisfaction at some point but for 2018, this is the only game in town, baby, and if you are a fan of outdoor holiday experience, then just enjoy. Don't complain...go and get out of what it offers.

The fabulous 6,500 square foot ice rink framed by the majestic Queen Mary ship in Long Beach is an experience like no other.  

  Ice Skating is on a first-come, first-served basis. A limited amount of reservations will be accepted on site. Visit the ticket booth adjacent to the ice rink, select a session (60 minutes) and pick up your voucher for your preferred skate time. Arrive to the rink 10-15 minutes prior to your skate time. Guests can attend an unlimited number of sessions-- stand-by skaters are allowed to enter the ice rink as skaters exit the ice. Skaters must be present to skate as stand-by skaters may not be able to skate the entire 60-minute session depending on when they enter the ice. Guests aged 4+ are allowed to skate. No one is allowed on the rink without skates. Socks are available for purchase at the skating rink and in our retail outlet. Skating assists are available to rent for $5, but are subject to availability. No food or beverage is allowed on the skating rink. Lockers are available for rent at the ice rink.

Presented by the Port of Long Beach, guests to CHILL are invited to enjoy some amazing routines from Ice Skaters in the area every Monday and Tuesday, 6:45-7PM.
