The annual ice rink opens in November and is open daily through April. Ice skate rentals are available in a rental package of around $20-25 unlimited skating. The rink is used by children and adults, and is located in the middle of a courtyard area between a group of shops at the base of the mountain / ski run where you can pick up the gondola ride for skiing at Heavenly.
The rink is ideal for kids while parents browse and dine overlooking the rink. In the daylight it kind of blends with white winter scene, but at night it takes on a special glow with sparkling lights and holiday decor such as giant snowflakes dangling over the rink.
