Scotts Valley is located in the towering redwoods a few miles east of the coast. There's a nice Hilton Hotel in the city providing quiet, quality accommodations just a few miles from the beach so that you can access the Santa Cruz beaches and Boardwalk, plus enjoy access to the Roaring Camp Train in Felton.

Scotts Valley combines the best of small town living with an upscale look & feel, and makes for an interesting home base for beach vacations. Who needs the beach when you can relax by a swimming fool surrounded by redwood trees?

Scotts Valley has a unique history you can examine in a small historic home and City Hall with a display case of arrowheads and other artifacts found locally.

A movie theater and numerous restaurants provide entertainment for a night on the town. All in all, we'd stay in Scotts Valley again because it has amazing charms and the Hilton is a comfortable home away from home.
