The Park Division maintains approximately 211 developed acres of Park and landscape areas including the City Cemetery and 5 Lighting and Landscape Districts, a 577-acre regional Park and 68 open space access areas.

In addition the Parks Division maintains the maintenance of turf areas at Benicia High School and Robert Semple and Joe Henderson Elementary School.

PARK RESERVATIONS

Reservations are accepted at the Parks and Community Services Department, 250 East L Street. No reservations can be taken by phone. Applicants must be 21 years of age with valid identification.

Residents can reserve the parks or outdoor facilities one year in advance. Non-Residents can reserve these facilities four months prior to the scheduled date of their event.

e Clock Tower is Benicia's largest facility with a maximum seating capacity of 536 people, 750 standing.

Reservations are accepted a maximum of 12 months in advance. Local non-profit organizations may apply 13 months in advance of rental date. Contact the Parks & Community Services office at 746-4285 to check available dates. Reservations are conducted in person and require a valid ID and verification of residency. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

Jack London Park
The group size for Jack London Park is limited to 60 guests and the reserved space is located on the eastern side of the park near the public parking lot.

Community Park
Picnic rental facilities are limited to those located in the group picnic area near the children's play area in the eastern part of the park. Seating capacity for each section is 46, and included one section of the double barbecue, one service table and seven picnic tables.City Park & Gazebo
Five picnic tables and two barbecues are available at the eastern end of City Park Adjacent to West K Street. Designated tables are situated in teh area of crushed granite and signage is posted indicating that the tables are in a reservable area.

Picnic areas may be reserved for group picnics, barbecues, or
children's parties.
