Operated
by the City's Parks & Recreation
department, the parks feature a variety
of amenities, swimming pools, meeting
space and are the home to special events
ranging from the annual
Eggstravaganza Egg Hunt just before
Easter, and the big
Silverado Days
Festival. Buena Park's
Summer Concert Series
in Boisseranc Park, 7520 Dale Street,
also provides over a month of weekly
concerts with some great bands and the
beautiful park setting to enjoy.
Buena
Park is known for the ultimate park,
Knott's Berry Farm. This pleasure themed
attraction offers hours of exciting
thrills with extreme rides, kiddie
rides, Old West shows, authentic ghost
town collections and dining such as one
of the first Pink's (hot dogs) in Orange
County. However, the park charges fees
for admission, and for the residents, it
isn't a viable option to take the kids
to a theme park constantly. The good
news is that there are a number of
quality, free public parks to enjoy in
Buena Park. See more
