Brace Park is a 20 acre park located on a hillside. The current location of the existing restrooms is not conducive to the tennis, softball or basketball players. Due to the size of the facilities and its multi-use amenities it is recommended that an additional restroom be constructed. Also, renovation of the existing restroom is required due to the age of the facility.

Starlight Bowl summer concerts and performances, fee-based. Nestled in the Verdugo Mountains, the Starlight Bowl is Burbank's premiere outdoor entertainment venue. Today, McCambridge Recreation Center has a gymnasium, several meeting rooms and classrooms including a Karate studio and serves as the main office for the After School Daze program. McCambridge Center hosts both youth and adult recreation classes and serves as one of the congregate meal sites for the Burbank Senior Adult Nutrition program. Today, Olive Recreation Center has a gymnasium, several meeting rooms, classrooms, and serves as the main office the Sports and Aquatics Office. Olive Recreation Center hosts both youth and adult recreation classes. The lobby area has table tennis and equipment available for check-out. Log Cabin in Verdugo Park. In 1961, recreation center featured a new second floor addition built on top of the existing pool bath house and would include an indoor gymnasium, meeting rooms, kitchen, restrooms, lounge and administrative offices. In 1984, Verdugo Pool was used as Olympic Training site for the Games of the XXIII Olympiad, held in Los Angeles.

The Creative Arts Center is located at 1100 West Clark Avenue in George Izay Park. The Creative Arts Center has a pottery studio, classroom and art gallery. The Stough Canyon Nature Center serves as an educational gateway to the Verdugo Mountains and Rim of the Valley Trails. Nestled in the Verdugo Mountains, the Nature Center provides opportunities for the public to learn more about the wildlife, flora, fauna, and habitat in this area of Los Angeles County through planned activities, exhibits, and nature hikes.

Stough Canyon Nature Center was named after Oliver J. Stough, who donated land to the City for public parkland that includes Stough Park, Stough Canyon Nature Center, and the Starlight Bowl. The Nature Center was dedicated in 2001 and has an exhibit hall with educational and interpretive displays, small library, classroom, and outdoor amphitheater.

The Stough Canyon Nature Center offers a variety of educational activities including astronomy, nature programs and activities, nature hikes, workshops, and seasonal day camps.
