Encinitas in North San Diego County is a
unique city comprised of regional
communities that include Cardiff and
Leucadia. The City of Encinitas operates
the parks and recreation department. ci.encinitas.ca.us.
Rules
(subject to change) Beach parking & parks use: 5 a.m. to
10 p.m.
Beach Use - 4 a.m. to 2 a.m.
Trail Use - Dawn to Dusk
No dogs allowed on beaches. Dogs on
leash are allowed in parks and on
trails. Orpheus and Encinitas Viewpoint
no-leash hours for dogs: Monday,
Wednesday and Friday: 6 to 7:30 a.m.
and 4 to 6 p.m.
No glass containers allowed in parks or
on beaches and trails
No alcoholic beverages allowed at
Beaches, Encinitas Viewpoint Park, Glen
Park and Sports Parks.
Beer and wine are allowed at other
parks.
