California Poppy Festival celebrates California's state flower in the place it grows exceedingly well-- in and around Lancaster, Calif. at one of Lancaster's great parks, the City Park.

Lancaster operates and maintains 11 City Parks, including Clear Channel Stadium. There is also the Big 8 Softball Complex at Lancaster City Park and the Lancaster National Soccer Center. Facilities in the city parks system provide rentals for group picnic shelters, plus barbecues, volleyball courts, horseshoe courts, softball fields, swimming pools, banquet halls and meeting rooms.
