San Pedro Parks are operated under City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks. laparks.org. One of San Pedro's fun parks is Point Fermin. It has some of the best views of the California coast on the peninsula, though another park, Del Cerro, in Rancho Palos Verdes, is pretty spectacular, too. In addition to having the Point Fermin Lighthouse you can tour, the annual Music by the Sea brings around 20 hours of free concert music held Sunday afternoons during July.
