California Beach Girl = British Pop Star Nadine Coyle

When you drive by Nadine's Irish Mist on Pacific Coast Highway in Sunset Beach, there's not much that distinguishes the Irish restaurant/pub from neighboring bars and diners such as Mother's Tavern, Turc's, Schooner at Sunset and J. King Neptune's. Most businesses serve decent food, cocktails, brews and feature bands and entertainment. Just steps away, locals can get a meal, socialize, and never have to risk driving home intoxicated. These sandy beaches have been home to the likes of Sandra Bullock, Cameron Diaz and Nadine Coyle, a name that's not as well known in California, but in England and her native Ireland, it's huge!

Formerly one of the beauties of the British band, Girls Aloud, Coyle has amassed a fortune through performance and music sales which some estimate to be around $8.5 million. Last year she teamed up with famed Irish dancer Michael Flatley to perform the title song in his show, Lord of the Dance – Dangerous Games (2nd photo from left). If you're looking for Nadine, she's so busy that you'll probably only meet her father who seems to run the family restaurant in Sunset Beach. He makes sure that there's always plenty of authentic Irish meals and sandwiches on the menu. But he certainly is proud of his daughter. Here's more about 29-year-old Nadine Coyle:

  • With Girls Aloud, Coyle has 20 consecutive UK top ten singles, 4 number ones, 2 number one albums in UK, nominations for 5 BRIT Awards, and Best Single for "The Promise".
  • Coyle released her debut solo album "Insatiable" in late 2010 through her own label, Black Pen Records.
  • Coyle has a child with Long Beach, Calif. native, former NFL football player, Jason Bell (New York Giants). Their daughter, Anaiya, was born in the Spring 2014.
  • In December Coyle posed with her daughter inside her Sunset Beach home for British tabloids and magazines, announcing she expects to have a wedding with her partner this year, and possibly more babies.
