If you don't see a deer grazing on the lawns and in the fields in and around Pacific Grove and its popular Asilomar beach, there is truly something wrong. Every time we've visited the coastal destination through years of vacations, we have always seen deer.

This picture above was taken while driving next to the ocean. We simply stopped the car (no one behind us) and were able to snap away in the morning foggy mist as the deer munched on grasses while watching us. For those who want to see and take pictures of deer, Pacific Grove is one of the best places you'll find in all of California to see and take photos of these interesting animals.
