California Pier Sunsets are one of the top photo images to shoot in California. As the sun sets toward the tropical islands of Hawaii, tourists to California and locals are reminded that they still have a few hours remaining to enjoy those precious sunsets as the colors of the sky fade from the West Coast landscape.

Notice the range of colors in the photos above. Pink, orange, blue and gold are a few special languishing memories we grab onto as we recall how the breeze felt, the moistness in the air from the salty ocean, and reflections and shadows cast by the pier pilings.
