Parents help their kids find the good stuff at Easter Egg Hunts. Sometimes there are more adults than children on the field.

Easter Egg Hunts bring out the best of community volunteerism as civic groups lend a hand to present the annual tradition of children looking for candy, plastic eggs or real eggs (on rare occasion) to fill their Easter baskets. Many hunts have created rules about parent participation, prohibiting moms & dads from hunting for their kids. You can see the frustration when parents notice their children aren’t fast enough, aggressive enough or for some reason just aren’t finding the good stuff to be had. This is the biggest Egg Hunt weekend of the year and Saturday is by far the most popular day.
