Published on: June 02, 2012

Throughout California people celebrate the 4th of July. If you want to have a little fun this summer, go out and spend a few bucks  before the 4th of July. You’ll amaze and delight your friends, and everyone will think you’re fun to be around. It won’t cost you more than $5, though you can spend more, no doubt!

5 Red, White & Blue 4th of July Ideas:

  1. Buy a hat. If you purchase one of the specialty hats, you’ll only wear it on July 4. So why not buy a white cowboy hat, red beret or blue ball cap? You can add a patriotic 4th of July pin-on button or a red, white & blue ribbon, and still have a hat that’s good to go the rest of the summer season.
  2. Balloons to lighten up. Buy a set of red, white & blue balloons. You can attach them to the front of your house on the 4th of keep them inside for a party, or for friends and family.
  3. Funky “do”.  Buy a can or two of  non-permanent hair color spray that comes in red, white and blue. Or if you’re totally into it you can get a tomahawk hairdo with the American flag design. There are also patriotic wigs but they’re less comfortable on hot summer days.
  4. Buy an American flag and wave it around. It only costs around $2.
  5. Buy a red, white & blue beach umbrella. You can use it on the 4th of July, but it will keep you cool all summer long.
