1,000 actors appear in the annual Knott’s Scary Farm each September, featuring some familiar haunts and all-new scares for fear-seekers. Buena Park’s Knott’s Berry Farm breaks the mold when it comes to Halloween entertainment.

As of posting, there are some Knott’s Scary Farm ticket deals under $40. You have to book ASAP, as the prices go up and the limited date offers disappear quickly.

In 2019 there are at least 13 attractions (mazes and and scare zones) such as several new mazes — Origins: the Curse of Calico (left photo) and Wax Works (right).

At Curse of Calico sinister paranormal activity plagues the town. Sarah Marshall is put on trial for her suspected crimes of witchcraft. The Green Witch rises up and curses the townsfolk.

Wax Works guests visit an abandoned wax museum where screams have been reported. A once prominent plastic surgeon has been seen there at night, reportedly creating beautiful yet terrifying life-like masterpieces. If hot molten wax and bloody flesh are the ingredients for his creations, you could be the next victim for the macabre masterpiece creations.

Where to go this year? Some Halloween fans travel the state to see them all, believe it or not!
