A California Christmas Carol

Tis’ that time of year to shift gears to a Dickens state of mind. One of the most celebrated authors championing the causes of the poor working class, is known for creating a holiday treasure, A Christmas Carol. There are many stage productions and Dickens festivals and events to see this year in cities throughout California.
- On Nov. 14 & 15, 2014 the great, great grandson of Charles Dickens makes a special appearance in Riverside with one of three presentations during his brief visit being A Christmas Carol.
- A favorite we like to see each holiday is free to see during the Market Place holiday craft fair at Knott’s Berry Farm in Buena Park is the Birdcage Theater short version of A Christmas Story.
- And of course you can’t forget the most outlandish and entertaining spectacle, the Great Dickens Fair, at Cow Palace in San Francisco.
