Berry Merry Memorial Weekend

Can’t you just imagine those sweet, juicy strawberries dripping with goodness? Take plenty of napkins cause you’re going to need them if you attend one of the strawberry festivals on Memorial Weekend. The most celebrated fruit in California (apples run a close second) has been in season for quite some time. The three day Memorial holiday in May is the perfect time for celebrations dedicated to one of the state’s most popular crops shipped by jet to other countries such as Japan where they pay a premium price to enjoy what we take for granted.
