Last year we featured creative holiday displays from Naples Island (Long Beach) resident Bill Williams. Whether presenting a winter scene depicting Big Bear with a small cabin that people could sit in and take pictures, or the Lights & Action of a TV Land Christmas, the design work has always been memorable and unique. This year the new display includes Beach Santa with reindeer, teddy bears enjoying milk & cookies and a mural of the lively Naples Boat Parade set to take place this evening, Dec. 13, 2014. We met the co-creator of these award-winning displays, Gordon Newsom, a Realtor with Crosby Doe Assoc. specializing in noteworthy properties for sale. Newsom said that he and Bill Williams hired someone to paint the mural seen in the photo above. This fun decor and others can be viewed during the holidays at homes on East Appian Way near the intersection of The Toledo.
