California Beach Weekend
The weekend is made for sun and sand and there are a few ways you can enjoy beaches with dads who love them. Carlsbad Beach Festival celebrates with great sand sculptures, bands on multiple stages and activities for all ages. South of Carlsbad at SeaWorld San Diego guests can combine their love of the ocean with Father’s Day celebrations by treating dad to the Father’s Day Brunch With Shamu. In Manhattan Beach dads can participate in a Father’s Day Volleyball Tournament for fathers & daughters or fathers & sons. Along the entire Southern California between San Diego and Point Conception its open season for the grunion run, but you’ll need to buy your dad a fishing license to participate.
