California Cowboy Festival Country

California cowboys don’t get quite the attention that likes of wealthy moguls such as Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg receive, but they work hard, get their hands blistered and do an honest day’s work out on the farm or range, bringing home the bacon so we all can eat. April is one of the biggest months to celebrate California’s cowboys and cowgirls — and even dress like them, if you want. This week the big Cowboy Festival in Santa Clarita pays homage to the region’s rich Western heritage.
