The annual Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival rides into Santa Clarita this April! Attendees will be surrounded by life on the American Frontier as performers serenade, vendors serve up BBQ treats and irresistible Peach Cobbler and merchants offer one-of-a-kind gear and goods celebrating the Western past with the flair of today.

The City of Santa Clarita sponsors the annual Cowboy Festival which takes place at the Melody Ranch Motion Picture Studio. Founded in 1994, the Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival celebrates California's Western heritage and the city's love of the Western film. If there's one cowboy festival that has it all, the Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival would be it. Chuck wagon meals,

Costumed festival attendees wear hoop skirts & corsets (women) and chaps, spurs, and hats (for the gents) to recreate the past. The City of Santa Clarita is located about 30 minutes north of Los Angeles and is home to one of the world's best and biggest Cowboy gatherings: the annual Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival. The action-packed festival often attracts 10,000+ attendees to experience live music, authentic western activities, trick ropers, gun spinners, magicians and more, as well as living history exhibits, fine Western gear, and Dutch oven peach cobbler so good it's earned a reputation of its own. This year's festival will be held at William S. Hart Park (estate of the legendary silent western film star) and other venues in Santa Clarita's historic Old Town Newhall district.
