Around this time of year artichoke lovers plan ways to get their fix. And one of the best ways to do so is the Castroville Artichoke Festival, held in May-June. With COVID-19 circling the world and causing massive shutdowns, things have been kind of rough for artichoke fans, as well as egg eaters, potato lovers, and consumers missing their favorite delicacies as stores run out. Hopefully it’s only temporary, as many food festivals in California have only delayed their normal dates, trying to bring their popular events to the public in later months.
