Celebrating Camarillo and the White Horses

This weekend the Camarillo Ranch in Camarillo, Calif. pays homage to Adolfo Camarillo, founder of the city which bears his name and breeder of the rare, white Camarillo horse. The show-stopper equine has been seen by millions who have watched Tournament of Roses – Rose Parades and other events where the breed struts its stuff in pageantry beyond compare.

ADOLFO DAY: A CELEBRATION OF ADOLFO CAMARILLO’S 154th BIRTHDAY, is a free event inviting the public to Camarillo Ranch Museum where guests can see special appearances by the famous Camarillo White Horses and enjoy guided tours of the 1892 Queen Anne Victorian Mansion.

Built in 1892 as a family residence for Isabel Camarillo from her loving 28-year old husband, Adolfo, this gracious place has captured the hearts of guests such as Hollywood celebrities Tom Mix and Rita Hayworth.

WHITE HORSES
