Scarier than Halloween – 19 Ice Rinks Opening

Just when you think the arms on the clock can’t move any faster, Californians quickly brush past Halloween, then speed into the Christmas holidays beginning next week. When the clock rolls back 1 hour for daylight savings, darkness will set in that first Sunday in November at 4:57 p.m.
No scarier than the pace at which the holidays come upon us is the speed in which Californians put on their winter hats and gloves, skating into seasonal ice rinks.
