Chocolate festivals such as this week’s Chocolate Salon in Pasadena (Sept.30, 2018) are abundant in California, but to find a candy festival–now that’s a treat! One of the few festivals dedicated to candy of all sorts is Jelly Belly’s Candy Palooza (Sept.29-30) at the Visitor Center in Fairfield! Enjoy Candy Sampling, Quality Art and Craft Vendors, Carnival Rides, Pony Rides and more at this free admission event.

Not only does this candy fest arrive around the time people are making their Halloween candy purchases, Jelly Belly announced Harry Potter-inspired candies to be released on October 1, 2018:

  • Bertie Bott’s Every-Flavour Beans
  • Chocolate Wands: replicas of  Harry Potter, Albus Dumbledore, Hermione Granger or Ron Weasley
  • Chocolate House Crests: moulded in the shape of each Hogwarts House Crest
  • Chocolate Creatures: Inspired by the Wizarding World: Aragog, Crookshanks, Fang, Fluffy, Hedwig or Thestral
  • Gummy Creatures: 1.5-oz. gummies  in four flavor combinations: Cherry/Lime, Cherry/Blueberry, Blueberry/Lime, Lime/Orange
  • Five magical creatures or pets: Fang, Fluffy, Buckbeak, Hedwig or Aragog
  • Chocolate Frogs
Jelly Slugs: Chewy gummies in  Banana, Pear, Sour Cherry, Tangerine and Watermelon
