Corn Dog Competition

The public is invited to participate in the Annual Corn Dog Championship. Milo Franks’ Corn Dog Contest takes place on Friday, July 18, 2014 at 6 p.m. at the California State Fair. Registration for the contest is going on now (castatefair.org). 18 corn dogs in 8 minutes and $2,500 dollars in cash prize went to the person who ate the most corn dogs within the time allotment last year. Contestants better hope that Hot Dog Eating champion Joey Chestnut doesn’t show up. He won the world record for eating 69 hot dogs in 10 minutes at the National Hot Dog Eating Contest last year in Coney Island. Seriously!
