Crustacean Weekend Straight Ahead
If seafood’s your thang’ this weekend you’ll find decadent crustaceans–lobster, crawdads and other similar delicacies served at festivals around California. Fresh, flown Maine lobster at the Original Lobster Festival in Long Beach (shown in photos) launches Southern California’s Big Three Lobster festivals over the next three weekends. Long Beach, San Pedro and Redondo Beach all serve up the finest, freshest lobster on the West Coast during their mega-lobster festivals–each the the toast of the town! In NorCal look for Red Bluff (Corning) Crawdad Festival this weekend to serve up tasty food and great entertainment and contests. In the Bay Area Pittsburg’s Seafood and Music Festival features dozens of seafood vendors allowing you to purchase a la cart, affordable fare.
