Encinitas Spring Street Fair

You’ll see lots of things at the Encinitas Street Fair this weekend on Apr. 25 & 26. Held on Historic Highway 101, nearly 100,000 people attend the two day festival of foods, music, art, beer (beer garden) and sunshine. Artist Wade Koniakowski really captures the atmosphere in the painting showing a girl riding her cruiser bike with surfboard in hand. She passes by a road sign signifying a surfer street crossing next to the Self Realization Fellowship where famed surfing beach, Swami’s is located. The fair in Encinitas (north San Diego County) is free to attend, and while you’re there, head over to Swami’s.
