Fairs Galore

A 30 minute drive northeast of Sacramento, Orangevale is having their annual Orangevale Pow Wow Days May 14-17, 2015. Held the third weekend in May the event has a hometown parade on Saturday, pancake breakfast, a Pee Wee Rodeo, Carnival and fun entertainment past sundown. Similar to a country fair, the festival was initially called Orangevale Chuckwagon Days, then Fiesta Days. In 1965 it adopted the current name.
