If you haven’t made plans for Father’s Day yet, there are plenty of options to show thanks to your father, grandpa, or anyone special in the “dad” category. And since there are still lots of things to see and do to celebrate the occasion, sky’s the limit.
Take, for instance, the annual Father’s Day Fly In in Columbia, Calif. June 15-16, 2019. This colorful 53rd annual festival of flight costs a mere $5 for adults and is free for kids to see. This year they’re calling it “Wings & Wheels — Where the Road Meets the Sky.” You’ll see all sorts of fun and vintage vehicles at this fantastic event.
If you want to get father up in the air, it can be arranged, thanks to California’s hot air ballooning destinations in both Northern and Southern California. There still may be some spots available at attractions such as California Dreamin‘ in Temecula. This isn’t a cheap thrill but having taken the journey, we can attest that it’s a trip you won’t forget!
