Unsung Heroes: Dads

Father's Day is the 3rd Sunday in June . According to National Retail Federation the annual event pays homage to fathers, grandfathers and even sons in the United States. We used to call this type of celebration a "Hallmark Moment" meaning that commercial enterprises such as card manufacturers have benefited from this day by encouraging the public to purchase gifts. Annual gift sales in the U.S. are around $15.5 billion, with average spenders dropping around $100-150 for presents.
