California artist and father, Bill Anderson’s book on baseball offers a unique “dad” gift for Father’s Day. Having been a star pitcher in high school, college and semi-pros, his love for and understanding of the sport are apparent in his artwork.
Father’s Day spending is up (according to National Retail Federation) and the best gifts include special outings like a ballgame, concert or dinner, with an average of $134.75 spent in 2017, up from last year’s $125.92. Total spending is expected to reach $15.5 billion, setting a record. The most requested gift (27%) is a “gift of experience” for Father’s Day such as tickets to a sporting event, concert or festival.
