While flashlight egg hunts aren’t as common as daytime egg hunts in California, they offer great fun. Often special glow eggs are used, but participants can also thank the strong beam of a flashlight to find gems.

Flashlight egg hunts are especially popular city parks and recreation events for teenagers mostly, though toddlers and grade school kids are invited to some. At SeeCalifornia.com we’re always on the lookout for unusual things to do such as pool egg hunts and flashlight egg hunts — so here are a few you may want to check out this year!
