California Home Tours
‘Tis the season to check out other people’s mansions. Home tours span the state of California throughout the year but are especially popular in the fall through early December. While some tours do offer insider views of luxury estates, many do not. The photo shows one unique offering — Sausalito Floating Homes Tour — taking place September 24, 2016. Floating homes in Marin County are anything but mansions size-wise. Including the barge or other floatation structure they may not exceed 46 feet length and 20 feet width, nor be taller than two stories. One example of a “home” for sale: Custom-built, two-story historic paddlewheel houseboat / Floating Home with 500 sq.ft interior space.
You’ll find home tours this fall/winter season 2016 in Sacramento, Hermosa Beach, Temecula, Pasadena, Redlands, Orange, Ojai, Mountain View, Rancho Cucamonga, Camarillo, Fresno, Costa Mesa, Sebastopol, Balboa Island, Alameda and Alpine.
