Fort Bragg Festival of Lights
One of several holiday-lit gardens in California, Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens (gardenbythesea.org), transforms each year into the Festival of Lights. A weekend gala with music by the Mendocino String Quartet helped support the fun, holiday attraction. The community festival is open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 5-7:30 p.m. through December 20, 2015. Adult tickets are $10 and children age 16 and under are free thanks to the funds raised by Festival of Lights Gala.
Visit this garden by the sea year-round, and enjoy easy access to the treasured California Coastal National Monument, a unique marine-dependent wildlife and vegetation oasis of more than 20,000 rocks, islands, exposed reefs, and pinnacles along the California coast at the Point Arena-Stornetta Unit of BLM.
