Greenhouse Tours for Green Thumbs

There are so many great flower festivals, parades and gardens to see in California but for those who like to grow things themselves, the annual Greenhouse Tours in Carpinteria and Watsonville offer inspiration and opportunities to shop for plants, mulch and all that good stuff. At the upcoming Carpinteria event featuring six nurseries travelers can see driving on the “101”, Galup & Stribling Orchids planned an exciting day focused on growing and harvesting of Cymbidium Orchids. The California Women for Agriculture are selling Tri Tip BBQ & Chips for $12 plate at the farm, the Retail Store is open with 20% savings on the day of the event that’s just one greenhouse among half a dozen filled with suprises.
