Approx. 6 months ago Lula Cellars opened its new 22-acre Philo property to the public and has quickly become the go-to place for festivals and events. The Anderson Valley Pinot Noir Festival (avwines.com) May 15-17, 2015 is looking forward to kicking off the weekend with a Lawn BBQ at Lula Cellars. ‘Lula’ will be pouring their award-winning wines at the Grand Tasting on May 16, and the winery invites guests to an Open House on May 17, part of the festival events.

Winemaker Jeff Hansen, a 28 year industry veteran who previously made wines in Napa Valley, created a 10,000 square-foot special events space for festivals, weddings and private functions.  Nestled in the rolling hills of Anderson Valley, Lula Cellars (lulacellars.com) invites visitors to the pet-friendly tasting room. The facility includes a pond and 14-acre Pinot Noir vineyard in the growing area known as The Deep End, situated on the west end of the Anderson Valley. Lula Cellars is Hansen’s limited production, ultra-premium label with wines produced entirely from vineyards in Mendocino County.  See more wine events in May!
