New at California State Fair
SACRAMENTO, CALIF. — Exciting, new things are planned for California’s State Fair taking place July 10-26, 2015. Among them is the first-of-its-kind 2015 Inaugural United States National Drone Racing Championships. Located in the Central Valley, one of the world’s most productive agricultural regions where over 225 crops are grown, California State Fair includes the usual farm displays, petting zoos and trends in farming. One such trend is the growing popularity of extra virgin olive oil, which was added this year to the olive oil competition. Another cool offering is the Rolling Beer Garden at the Fair inviting visitors to book a tour which includes three stops to sample award-winning craft brews. These are just a few must-see’s and must-do’s. In reality, there are hundreds of things worth checking out at this beloved annual event which has been a hit in Sacramento for more than 160 years!
