New Escondido Tamale Festival

Tamale lovers, rejoice! A new tamale festival is coming to Escondido this Fall. Games, food, contests such as the Chihuahua Costume Contest and great entertainment offer a festive, fun, pre-holiday celebration of culture and cuisine. Held in a 127 year old historic Downtown Business District the event was created to help promote and preserve the rich history and heritage of the special district. While the festival will be absolutely free to attend, an upgraded VIP option gives guests the inside track on food sampling and other amenities offered to ticket holders.
