Oktoberfest
If you like pretzels & polkas, lederhosen & dirndls, wiener dogs & chicken dance, you owe it to yourself to celebrate Oktoberfest. Why travel all the way to Germany when you can speak the language here, enjoy California’s great craft beer (plus imports, of course,) and save a ton of money that can be spent throughout the state in your effort to celebrate many Oktoberfests in the homeland? Cities far & wide host these events. We can’t list them all here but they include Cotati, Julian, Lakeport, Placerville, Twain Harte, Visalia… and so forth (und so weiter). We’ll be featuring some of the bigger festivals in upcoming weeks but for now, dust of your funky chicken-head hat and get ready. Good times are on the way, just beyond Labor Day. Auf Wiedersehen!
