Upstairs-Downstairs Tours offered August 1 – 18, 2013. For the first time in history the Gamble House opens its doors to the upstairs servants rooms.  For three weeks only visitors to the Greene & Greene architecturally-designed masterpiece in Pasadena, can get a glimpse of the servant quarters during conservation work on the main floor. In the Upstairs-Downstairs tour guests are guided (wearing  specially-issued booties to preserve the flooring) through the 2nd and 3rd floors and the basement. This is a must see for fans of the Gamble House designed in 1908 for Mary and David Gamble of  Proctor & Gamble. Tickets are expected to sell out fast.
