Be sure to check it out, and also visit the Pony Express plaque and mural in Vacaville. The other photos come from Pony Express Days annual celebration in McKinleyville. Right photo is the Pony Express Days Dance where cowboys & cowgirls wear their best Western outfits and boots to kick up the dust.  McKinleyville Pony Express celebration always held the first weekend includes  a chowder cook-off, a dance, a parade, festival, fireman’s muster, and lots of bands, foods, games and activities for all ages.   See mckinleyvillechamber.com
