National Popcorn Day and a Week of Eats

January 19 is National Popcorn Day. Nearly all of the world’s popcorn production is in the United States where the average person consumes 58 quarts per year. California isn’t one of the top 5 states where popcorn is grown. However, we are the top consumers of it.
